Testimonials
Jackson Bottom Wetlands Preserve has incorporated the Family Science program as a component of a grant received from the Intel Corporation because we feel it is such a valuable tool for introducing science to children of all ages and for making a connection with members of the Hispanic community that can be difficult to contact. The Family Science Night held at the school gives our staff the perfect opportunity to interact with the entire school community. We will offer the Family Science workshop again this year for teachers from the three schools we are working with under the grant.

Teachers who attended the Family Science workshop last year were very excited about the Family Science model. They were able to return to their schools after attending the one day workshop and organize a Family Science Night for the entire student body and their families. Every one of the events was a great success
